Me and the Muse (3 am Really?)

I have never completely understood why the Muse decides that 3 am is a great time to keep me awake with ideas. It seems to think I need to up my coffee consumption.

The creative process has always been that way. I don't get one idea ... I get dozens. It makes it very hard to pace out new products. My budget has dramatically different ideas from the Muse (one of these days, they'll be on the same page).

One concept leads to the next. For example, the sugar scrubs  lead to coffee scrubs (then oatmeal). Soon, the Oatmeal Scrub will be online, followed by two more bath treatments and two more spice blends.

A lot of the time, you have to wonder whether a specific product has appeal, which means researching craft stores and what they carry. Even then, nothing is certain. This year is the experimental phase to see what you like, and hopefully get input on what else you'd love me to make. Oh, and getting feedback on products (please).

So I am off to gather more oatmeal, honey, olive oil, vanilla, and ginger. The house will smell like yummy cookies for a few hours, a bonus prize!. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
