I set up a little work area in my room for the basics of soap molding, including fine glitter that now resides on everything I own (I think even the cat). Never take me shopping for soap supplies , If I have a credit card. The variety is not only overwhelming but tempting. But as any creative soul knows, once those wheels are turning, more ideas come forward.
First, floating candles (hey, a bubble bath by candlelight, I am so IN). Then soft soaps, bath salts, finishing sugar, portable barbecue spices. This is a nice, giftable line or something people can get for self-pampering.
My entire goal is not to make knock-off items you can find anywhere. Some of the molds will be the same, but I paint each by hand differently, and use different additives: scents, cocoa butter, olive oil, coffee, honey powder, sesame powder, rosehips & pomegranate oil, and different soap bases. You'll never get bored scrolling through my site (or so I hope)
I would love to hear your feedback and ideas. This is my first time making a webpage and trying a whole new adventure. I can use all the help people are willing to share.

Thank you for looking and supporting small business.
FROM WRITING TO CRAFTING: How We Got Here
Once upon a time (all good stories start like that, right?). Thirty years ago, I started on a journey in wordsmithing. I had no idea where it would take me, from published books and consulting to blogs and articles; it seems my fingers barely leave the keyboard.
The standing joke is that I will die at my work desk, having typed, "and the secret to life is......."
Recently, my children reminded me that there is life beyond the monitor. But what hobby should I choose? My eyes are terrible (eliminating cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, and macramé), and I don't drive, so no joining a choir or hitting antique stores. I am most definitely NOT athletic LOL!
Finally, soap and curios won the day.
