Calling All Stargazers: Perseids Peak This Week. Announcing Starlight and Soap Candle Combination
As a child, I loved looking at the stars, musing about nearly anything. I still love stargazing, and if you do, too, the peak of the Perseids Meteor Shower is today and tomorrow (with a little rollover into Friday)
The best time to see them is in the hours before dawn in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s a new moon, making viewing even better. Sadly, unless you live close to the equator, they’re not visible in the Southern Hemisphere. True to its name, they’re centered in the constellation Perseus.
Under ideal conditions, there are about 90 meteors an hour that your eye might catch. They tend to be bright, colorful, and even some have tails! Don’t forget to make a wish.

To celebrate, I have created a new product: Starlight and Soap Candle Combination. The base of the star is all soap. The center of the star is a removable candle. It’s bathing by candlelight- the best of two worlds. And you don’t have to wait for a meteor shower to use them!
Handcrafted. Only three made.
